Not that long ago I was house hunting for my growing family. The perfect house in our favorite neighborhoods was hard to find. So we started with the perfect location instead and built our dream home. Now I’m on a mission to help you find or make your dream home.

What is Smith Cove?

Smith Cove is is a body of water and a place in Magnolia. A cove is also an architectural arch. Magnolia is one of Seattle’s most beautiful neighborhoods and the place where my renovation and real estate story takes shape. It is the place my family calls home. While it would have been great to call this Magnolia Cove or something to that effect, Joanna Gaines has co-opted all things “Magnolia.” So a found a quiet, protected corner of the neighborhood where the homes meet the sea as inspiration. Smith has personal meaning too.
