Simplicity is more thoughtful than complexity. You’ve heard that “less is more,” but it also takes more time. It is less adorned. There are stricter tolerances. If you cannot disguise imperfections in complexity, it must have more precision.
With good design, there is thoughtfulness. Spaces are deliberate. Flow is intentional. Everything in the design has a purpose because the superfluous has already been subtracted.
